About Delhi Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research University

Delhi Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research University (DPSRU) is a state university located at Pushp Vihar, Sector 3, Mehrauli-Badarpur Road, New Delhi, established in 2008 (operational from 2010) by the DPSRU Act, 2008 of the Delhi Legislative Assembly. DPSRU is the first pharmacy university in India and is approved by UGC, AICTE, PCI and the Delhi Council for Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy (DCPOT).

DPSRU offers UG (B.Pharm, D.Pharm, B.Sc Healthcare, BPT, BMLT, BBA Healthcare), PG (M.Pharm in multiple specialisations, MBA Pharmaceutical Management, MBA Healthcare, MPT, M.Sc Health Informatics, M.Sc Sports Sciences, MD/MS) and Ph.D programmes. B.Pharm admission is through CUET UG plus DPSRU counselling; M.Pharm admission requires GPAT plus DPSRU PG Counselling; MBA admission accepts CAT / MAT / CMAT; BPT / BMLT / B.Sc admit through CUET UG / DPSRU CET.

CUET UG 2026 is being conducted from 11-31 May 2026. DPSRU 2026-27 application closes around 15-20 May 2026. The official admission portal is at dpsru.edu.in.

Eligibility

B.Pharm: 10+2 with PCB / PCM and 55% (50% reserved); CUET UG. D.Pharm: 10+2 PCB / PCM. M.Pharm: B.Pharm + GPAT. BPT / BMLT / B.Sc Healthcare: 10+2 with PCB; CUET UG / DPSRU CET. MBA: Bachelor's + valid CAT / MAT / CMAT. Ph.D: Master's with UGC-prescribed aggregate.

   Visit dpsru.edu.in for the 2026-27 admission notification with programme list, eligibility and entrance criteria.
2. 2
   Apply for the relevant entrance
   For B.Pharm / BPT / BMLT / B.Sc: CUET UG / DPSRU CET; for M.Pharm: GPAT; for MBA: CAT / MAT / CMAT; for Ph.D: DPSRU Research Entrance.

   Appear for the entrance
   Sit CUET UG (11-31 May 2026), GPAT, CAT, MAT, CMAT or DPSRU CET as scheduled.
4. 4
   Counselling and admission
   Participate in DPSRU counselling, exercise programme preferences and confirm allotment by paying the admission fee at the Pushp Vihar campus.

Scholarships

Scholarships are available for eligible candidates at this university.

DPSRU merit scholarships, Delhi Government scholarships, Central Sector Scholarship, AICTE Pragati / Saksham scholarships, SC/ST/OBC/EWS post-matric scholarships through NSP.

Reservations

Delhi state reservation: 85% Delhi quota + 15% outside Delhi for select programmes. SC 15%, ST 7.5%, OBC-NCL 27%, EWS 10%; PwBD 5% horizontal.
