About Indian Institute of Foreign Trade

Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) is a deemed-to-be university located at IIFT Bhawan, B-21, Qutab Institutional Area, New Delhi, originally established in 1963 as an autonomous body under the Ministry of Commerce, Government of India and conferred deemed-to-be university status in 2002. IIFT is India's premier institution for international trade and business education and operates campuses at Delhi, Kolkata and Kakinada.

IIFT offers two-year MBA programmes (MBA International Business, MBA Business Analytics), Executive Post Graduate Diploma in International Business (EPGDIB), Doctoral programmes (Ph.D / Fellow Programme) and short / executive programmes for working professionals. Admission to the flagship two-year MBA is through the IIFT MBA Examination (conducted by NTA on behalf of IIFT) followed by GD/PI; Doctoral admission uses the IIFT Research Entrance plus interview.

IIFT admits its flagship two-year MBA programmes (MBA International Business, MBA Business Analytics) through the IIFT MBA Examination conducted by NTA on behalf of IIFT. Doctoral admission uses the IIFT Research Entrance plus interview. IIFT does not offer regular UG programmes.

Eligibility

MBA (International Business / Business Analytics): Bachelor's degree in any discipline with 50% aggregate (45% SC/ST/PwD); valid IIFT MBA Examination score plus GD/PI clearance. Doctoral / Fellow Programme: Master's degree with the prescribed aggregate plus IIFT Research Entrance plus interview.
