About Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University
Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University (CCSHAU) is a state agricultural university located at Hisar in Haryana, established in 1970 by the Haryana Agricultural University Act, 1970 of the Haryana Legislative Assembly. CCSHAU is named after the late Prime Minister Chaudhary Charan Singh and is the second-largest agricultural university in Asia.
CCSHAU offers UG (B.Sc Ag, B.Sc Horti, B.Tech Agri Engg, B.Sc Forestry, B.Sc Fisheries, B.Sc Food Tech, B.Sc Home Sci, B.V.Sc), PG (M.Sc, M.Tech) and Ph.D programmes. UG admission is through ICAR AIEEA UG (15% AIQ) and CCSHAU Common Entrance (85% State Quota); PG admission is through ICAR AIEEA PG and CCSHAU PG Entrance.
