About Maharana Pratap Horticultural University
Maharana Pratap Horticultural University (MHU) is a state horticultural university located at Karnal in Haryana, established in 2016 by the MHU Act, 2016 of the Haryana Legislative Assembly. MHU is India's first university dedicated entirely to horticulture and is named after the celebrated Mewar king Maharana Pratap.
MHU offers UG (B.Sc Horticulture), PG (M.Sc Horticulture) and Ph.D programmes across pomology, vegetable science, floriculture & landscape architecture, post-harvest technology, plant pathology and entomology. UG admission via ICAR AIEEA UG (15% AIQ) + MHU CET (85% State Quota); PG via ICAR AIEEA PG.
