About Pandit Lakhmi Chand State University of Performing and Visual Arts
Pandit Lakhmi Chand State University of Performing and Visual Arts (PLCSUPVA) is a state performing-arts university located at Rohtak in Haryana, established in 2014 by the PLCSUPVA Act, 2014 of the Haryana Legislative Assembly. The university is named after the legendary Haryanvi folk artist Pandit Lakhmi Chand and is dedicated to teaching, research and performance in music, dance, theatre, fine arts and folk arts.
PLCSUPVA offers UG (BA Music / Dance / Drama, B.F.A.), PG (MA Music / Dance / Drama, M.F.A) and Ph.D programmes. Admission is through PLCSUPVA Aptitude Test plus audition / portfolio review and interview.
