APG Shimla University (Alakh Prakash Goyal Shimla University) is a state private university located at Mehli-Shoghi Bypass, Shimla in Himachal Pradesh, established in 2012 by the APG Shimla University Act, 2012 of the HP Legislative Assembly. The university is part of the APG Education Trust and is positioned as a multi-disciplinary private university with engineering, management, hospitality, design and humanities programmes.
