About Himachal Pradesh Technical University

Himachal Pradesh Technical University (HPTU) is a state technical university located at Hamirpur in Himachal Pradesh, established in 2010 by the HPTU Act, 2010 of the HP Legislative Assembly. HPTU is the principal affiliating technical university for engineering, polytechnic, pharmacy and management colleges across HP.

HPTU offers UG (B.Tech, BBA, BCA, B.Pharm), PG (M.Tech, MBA, MCA, M.Pharm) and Ph.D programmes through its constituent and affiliated colleges. B.Tech admission is through JEE Main + HP CET (state quota); M.Tech via GATE; MBA via CMAT / MAT; M.Pharm via GPAT.
