About Central University of Jharkhand
Central University of Jharkhand (CUJ) is a Central University located at Cheri-Manatu, Kanke Road near Ranchi in Jharkhand, established by the Central Universities Act, 2009 of the Indian Parliament. CUJ operates from a 500-acre permanent campus and offers UG, integrated, PG, M.Phil and Ph.D programmes across humanities, social sciences, sciences, commerce, management, education, languages, engineering and tribal studies.
CUJ offers programmes through 16 schools and 35 departments. UG and PG admission is conducted entirely through CUET UG and CUET PG (NTA) respectively; Ph.D admission uses the CUJ Research Entrance Test or NET-JRF / GATE qualification. Special focus on tribal languages and Jharkhand-region studies.
CUET UG 2026 is being conducted from 11 to 31 May 2026. CUJ portal is at cuj.ac.in.
