About Kolhan University

Kolhan University (KU) is a state university located at Chaibasa in West Singhbhum district of Jharkhand, established in 2009 (Act 2007) by the Jharkhand Legislative Assembly. The university serves the colleges of the West Singhbhum, East Singhbhum, Saraikela-Kharsawan and Simdega districts of south Jharkhand.

KU offers UG, PG and Ph.D programmes across arts, sciences, commerce, management and education. UG admission via CUET UG / merit; PG via KU PG Entrance or CUET PG.
