About Sarala Birla University

Sarala Birla University (SBU) is a state private university located at Birla Knowledge City, Mahilong, Ranchi-Purulia Highway in Jharkhand, established in 2017 by the SBU Act, 2017 of the Jharkhand Legislative Assembly. The university is part of the Sarala Birla group (BK Birla Group) and offers a multi-disciplinary curriculum across engineering, management, commerce, sciences and humanities.

SBU offers UG (B.Tech, BBA, BCA, B.Com, B.Sc, BA), PG (M.Tech, MBA, MCA, M.Com, M.Sc, MA) and Ph.D programmes. B.Tech via JEE Main / SBU Entrance; MBA via CAT / MAT / CMAT / SBU Entrance.
