About Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences

Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS), Karnataka is a state health-sciences university located at Bengaluru in Karnataka, established in 1994 by the RGUHS Act, 1994 of the Karnataka Legislative Assembly. RGUHS is the principal affiliating university for medical, dental, AYUSH, nursing, pharmacy and paramedical colleges across Karnataka with more than 750 affiliated institutions.

RGUHS oversees admission to MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, BNYS, B.Sc Nursing, B.Pharm, D.Pharm, BPT and allied health programmes. MBBS / BDS admission is through NEET UG + KEA state counselling (15% AIQ + 85% State Quota); BAMS / BHMS / BNYS via NEET UG + AYUSH counselling; PG (MD/MS, MDS) via NEET PG / NEET MDS; B.Sc Nursing via INC norms + RGUHS counselling.
