About Bharati Vidyapeeth
Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University), established in 1964 as the Bharati Vidyapeeth Trust and declared a Deemed-to-be University in 1996 — is one of the largest private deemed universities in India. Headquartered at Pune-Satara Road, Pune, Bharati Vidyapeeth has 180+ educational institutes across Maharashtra and India, covering schools, colleges, university departments and research centres. The university is part of the Bharati Vidyapeeth (founded by Dr. Patangrao Kadam, former MH cabinet minister).
Bharati Vidyapeeth has 29 constituent institutions including colleges of Medicine, Dentistry, Engineering, Architecture, Pharmacy, Management, Law, Computer Studies, Distance Education and 13 other faculties. Admissions through Bharati Vidyapeeth-conducted entrance tests — BVP CET (UG), BVP MBA CET, BVP B.Tech CET. NEET UG for MBBS/BDS; NEET PG for MD/MS; CAT/CMAT also accepted for MBA. CUET UG/PG accepted for select programmes. PhD through BVP PhD entrance.
