Dr. DY Patil Vidyapeeth (DPU) Pune, established in 1996 as a medical college and declared a Deemed-to-be University in 2003 under the UGC Act, is a private deemed university located at Sant Tukaram Nagar, Pimpri, Pune. The university is part of the DY Patil Group founded by Dr. Dnyandeo Yashwantrao Patil. DPU Pune is one of the leading medical universities in Maharashtra.
