DY Patil University (DYPU) Pune, established in 2019 by an Act of the Maharashtra state legislature, is a private state university located at Tathawade, Pune. The university is part of the DY Patil Group (founded by Dr. Dnyandeo Yashwantrao Patil). DYPU Tathawade complements the older Dr. DY Patil Vidyapeeth Pimpri (deemed) and DYPIU Akurdi (state) within the DY Patil network of universities in Pune.
