About GH Raisoni University

G.H. Raisoni University, established in 2018 by an Act of the Maharashtra state legislature, is a private state university located at Hingna Road, Amravati. The university is part of the G.H. Raisoni Group of Institutions — a large education conglomerate based in Nagpur (Maharashtra) and named after the founder's mother Late Shantidevi Raisoni. GHRU Amravati is the Vidarbha campus complementing GHRU Chhindwara (MP) and the parent G.H. Raisoni College of Engineering Nagpur.
