About International Sports University

International Sports University of Maharashtra (ISUM), established in 2021 by an Act of the Maharashtra state legislature, is a unique state university dedicated to sports education, science, technology and management. Located in Pune, ISUM is the first dedicated sports university of Maharashtra and one of the first state-funded sports universities in India.

ISUM offers programmes in Sports Sciences, Sports Coaching, Sports Management, Sports Psychology, Sports Engineering, Sports Medicine, Physiotherapy, Sports Journalism and Adventure Sports. The university focuses on Olympic-track training for athletes alongside academic degrees. Includes BPE, MPE, MSc Sports Sciences, MBA Sports Management and PhD.

Admissions through ISUM Common Entrance Test + Physical Fitness Test (mandatory for all sports-track programmes). Academic programmes accept Plus Two merit. Sports merit quota for state/national/international medalists.
