About Dhanamanjuri University
Dhanamanjuri University (DMU), established in 2018 by an Act of the Manipur state legislature, is a state cluster university located at Imphal. The university was created by integrating four historically important colleges of Imphal — Dhanamanjuri College of Science, Dhanamanjuri College of Arts, Dhanamanjuri College of Commerce, and the Dhanamanjuri Law College — into a single cluster university. The Dhanamanjuri colleges date back to the 1940s and were named after Princess Dhanamanjuri of the Manipur royal family.
Dhanamanjuri University has four constituent colleges (DMU College of Arts, DMU College of Science, DMU College of Commerce, DMU College of Law) offering UG (BA, BSc, BCom, LLB) and PG (MA, MSc, MCom, LLM) programmes. The university also offers research programmes in select departments. Recognised by UGC under Section 2(f).
UG admissions through Plus Two merit (centralised allotment by DMU). PG admissions through DMU PG entrance or CUET PG. PhD through DMU PhD entrance.
