About CV Raman Global University
CV Raman Global University (CGU), established in 2020 by an Act of the Odisha state legislature (continuing the legacy of CV Raman College of Engineering founded in 1997 by Manmath Kumar Padhi), is a private state university located at Janla, Bhubaneswar. The university is named after Sir CV Raman — the 1930 Nobel Laureate in Physics. CGU is part of the Sri Sathya Sai Group (no relation to the Sri Sri University). The university has grown from a single engineering college into a comprehensive multi-disciplinary state university.
CV Raman Global University has multiple schools — Engineering & Technology, Pharmacy, Sciences, Computer Applications, Management, Education, Law, Architecture, Commerce, Mass Communication and Health Sciences. The Faculty of Engineering is the flagship vertical with multiple NBA-accredited programmes. NAAC A grade accredited.
B.Tech admissions through CGU Entrance Test or JEE Main. Other programmes through CGU Entrance or merit. CAT/CMAT for MBA. GATE for M.Tech. CUET UG/PG accepted. PhD through CGU PhD entrance.
