About Bhartiya Skill Development University

Bhartiya Skill Development University (BSDU), established in 2017 by an Act of the Rajasthan state legislature, is a private state skill university located at Jaipur-Delhi Highway, Mahindra SEZ, Jaipur. BSDU was established jointly by the Government of Rajasthan and the Indian Centre for Research and Education (ICRE) and is positioned as one of India's first private skill development universities — focused on Swiss dual-system VET education.

BSDU has multiple schools — Automotive Skills, Manufacturing Skills, Construction Skills, Hospitality & Tourism, IT-ITeS, Healthcare Skills, Retail Management, Beauty & Wellness, Fire & Safety, and Logistics. Programmes integrate work-integrated learning, industry internships and NSQF-aligned skill certification with strong Swiss-Indian industry collaboration.

Admissions through BSDU Skills Entrance Test + skill aptitude assessment. CUET UG/PG accepted for select programmes. Industry-sponsored placements for many programmes.
