About Rajasthan University of Veterinary & Animal Sciences
Rajasthan University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (RAJUVAS), established in 2010 by an Act of the Rajasthan state legislature, is the state veterinary and animal sciences university of Rajasthan. Headquartered at Bikaner, RAJUVAS was formed by separating the veterinary colleges from SKRAU Bikaner into a dedicated veterinary university.
RAJUVAS has 5 colleges — College of Veterinary & Animal Science (Bikaner), College of Veterinary & Animal Science (Vallabhnagar Udaipur), College of Veterinary & Animal Science (Navania Vallabhnagar), College of Dairy & Food Technology (Bikaner) and Post-Graduate Institute of Veterinary Education & Research (Jaipur). ICAR-accredited state veterinary university; recognised by Veterinary Council of India (VCI).
UG admissions to BVSc & AH through Rajasthan Pre-Veterinary Test (RPVT, state quota 85%) and ICAR AIEEA UG (15% national quota). PG/PhD through ICAR AIEEA PG / AICE-JRF.
