About University of Kota

University of Kota, established in 2003 by an Act of the Rajasthan state legislature, is a state university located at MBS Marg, Kota. The university serves the Hadoti region of south-eastern Rajasthan — Kota, Bundi, Baran and Jhalawar districts. Kota is famous as India's coaching capital for engineering and medical entrance exams (with hundreds of thousands of students annually).

University of Kota has 18 PG teaching departments organised into faculties of Arts, Social Sciences, Sciences, Commerce, Education, Law and Management. It affiliates 50+ UG and PG colleges across the Hadoti region. NAAC accredited.
