About Jawaharlal Nehru Architecture and Fine Arts University
Jawaharlal Nehru Architecture and Fine Arts University (JNAFAU), established in 2008 by an Act of the Andhra Pradesh state legislature (continued under Telangana state after 2014), is the state architecture and fine arts university of Telangana. Located at Mahaveer Marg, Masab Tank, Hyderabad, JNAFAU is one of India's few dedicated architecture-and-arts state universities — affiliating government and private architecture, fine arts and design colleges across Telangana.
JNAFAU has departments of Architecture, Planning, Fine Arts (Painting, Sculpture, Applied Arts), Performing Arts, Industrial Design, and Interior Design. Offers B.Arch (5-year), B.Plan, BFA, MArch, MFA, MPlan and PhD programmes. Recognised by COA (Council of Architecture) and NCFA.
B.Arch admissions through NATA/JEE Main Paper 2 with state counselling by TSCHE. BFA through JNAFAU entrance + portfolio review. MArch/MFA through JNAFAU PG entrance. PhD through JNAFAU PhD entrance.
