About Palamuru University

Palamuru University, established in 2008 by an Act of the Andhra Pradesh state legislature (continued under Telangana state after 2014), is a state university located at Bandameedipalli, Mahabubnagar (now Palamuru district). The university serves the southern Telangana region — Mahabubnagar, Wanaparthy, Nagarkurnool and Jogulamba Gadwal districts.

Palamuru University has 14 PG teaching departments organised into faculties of Arts, Social Sciences, Sciences, Commerce and Education. It affiliates 50+ UG and PG colleges. NAAC accredited.
