Graphic Era Hill University (GEHU), Dehradun was established in 2011 by Graphic Era Educational Society under the Uttarakhand State Legislature Act. It is a sister institution to Graphic Era Deemed University and is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under Section 2(f) of the UGC Act, 1956. The university operates from three campuses — the main Dehradun campus at Clement Town, the Bhimtal campus in Nainital district, and the Haldwani campus — collectively making it one of Uttarakhand's largest private higher education networks.
GEHU offers a comprehensive portfolio across the Schools of Engineering & Technology, Computing, Management, Education, Liberal Arts, Mass Communication and Sciences. Flagship programmes include BTech (CSE/IT/AIML/Cyber Security/ECE/EE/Mechanical/Civil), BCA/MCA, BBA/MBA, BSc/MSc (Physics/Chemistry/Maths/Biotech/Forestry/Agriculture), BJMC/MAJMC, B.Des/BFA, BPharm/MPharm, BEd, BA-LLB/LLB, BHMCT, B.Sc Nursing and PhD programmes. Admissions accept JEE Main, GEEE, CAT/MAT/CMAT/XAT, NATA, CLAT and the university's own entrance test.
GEHU is NAAC accredited and is known for affordable quality private education across Uttarakhand's plains and hill regions.
