About Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Medical Education University

Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Uttarakhand Medical Education University (HNBUMEU), established in 2014 by an Act of the Uttarakhand state legislature, is the state medical education university of Uttarakhand. Headquartered at Dehradun, the university affiliates government and private medical, dental, AYUSH and nursing colleges across the state. The university is named after Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna.

HNBUMEU does not run colleges directly but affiliates 30+ health colleges across Uttarakhand. Recognised by NMC/DCI/CCIM/INC.
