About Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India Dehradun
Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India University (ICFAI University), Dehradun was established in 2003 by the Government of Uttarakhand through an Act of the State Legislative Assembly. It is one of the eleven universities sponsored by the ICFAI Group nationwide. The university is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under Section 2(f) of the UGC Act, 1956, and is approved by AICTE for technical programmes. ICFAI Dehradun operates from its sprawling campus at Selaqui on the outskirts of Dehradun.
The university comprises faculties of management, law, science and technology, education, and pharmacy. Flagship offerings include the BBA-MBA dual programme, IBS-aligned MBA, BTech in core engineering branches, BA LLB / BBA LLB integrated programmes accredited by the Bar Council of India, MTech, BPharm/MPharm, BEd and PhD across disciplines. Admissions for management programmes use IBSAT, while engineering admissions accept JEE Main, UPSEE and ICFAI's own IUEET; law admissions accept CLAT/LSAT scores in addition to ICFAI's own LET.
ICFAI Dehradun is NAAC accredited and has built recognition for its industry-aligned curriculum, case-study based pedagogy, and access to the ICFAI Business School (IBS) placement network. The Selaqui campus offers separate hostels for boys and girls, library, sports complex, and proximity to the IT Park and educational hub of Dehradun. Recruiters across banking, FMCG, IT and consulting visit annually under the combined ICFAI placement umbrella.
