About IMS Unison University
IMS Unison University (IUU), Dehradun was established in 2013 by Unison Educational Society under the Uttarakhand State Legislature Act. It traces its origins to the Institute of Management Studies (IMS) founded in 1996, which built a strong reputation in management education. The university is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under Section 2(f) of the UGC Act, 1956 and is approved by AICTE, BCI and PCI for its respective professional programmes. The campus is located at Makkawala Greens on Mussoorie-Diversion Road, Dehradun, in a tranquil hilltop setting.
IMS Unison University offers programmes across the School of Management, School of Law, School of Mass Communication, School of Liberal Arts and the School of Hospitality Management. Flagship offerings include BBA/MBA (with specialisations in Marketing, Finance, HR, International Business, Operations), BA-LLB (Hons)/BBA-LLB (Hons)/LLB/LLM, BA-MA Journalism and Mass Communication, BHMCT, B.A./B.A. (Hons) Liberal Arts, B.Sc Hospitality Management and PhD programmes. Admissions accept CAT/MAT/XAT/CMAT/ATMA for MBA, CLAT/LSAT/IUU-LET for law, and IUU's own entrance test for other programmes.
IMS Unison is NAAC accredited and is consistently ranked among the top private universities in North India for management education. It has academic partnerships with Lancaster University Management School, Northwood University USA and Coventry University UK.
