About Uttarakhand Ayurved University

Uttarakhand Ayurved University (UAU), established in 2009 by an Act of the Uttarakhand state legislature, is the state Ayurveda university of Uttarakhand. Located at Harrawala, Dehradun, the university is the apex state body for Ayurveda education and regulates BAMS/MD Ayurveda programmes in Uttarakhand. Uttarakhand has a rich heritage of Ayurveda (Haridwar, Rishikesh, Patanjali Yogpeeth) making it a natural location.

UAU affiliates all Ayurveda colleges in Uttarakhand and offers BAMS, MD (Ayu), BSc Yoga & Naturopathy, B.Pharma (Ayurveda) and PhD programmes. Recognised by Ministry of AYUSH and CCIM/NCISM.
